[edit] Career

Mané has played for a series of clubs in Spain throughout his career. He started with R.B. Linense at the age of 19, for whom he made 19 appearances. He then moved on to Díter Zafra but his appearances were limited to just 8 league games in two years. In 2003 he moved to Atlético Madrid B, where he made 36 appearances and scored 6 goals. He went to Murcia for the 2005-06 season where he played 39 games and scored 2 goals.

In 2006, Mané moved clubs again, this time to UD Almería. His performances for the club have been much admired, represented by him being named in Sky Sports pundit Guillem Balague's team of the season for La Liga 2007-08[1], alongside players from Real Madrid and Barcelona.

He has been linked with a summer move to Villarreal, and has already agreed personal terms.[2]
