José Manuel Cañamero

José Manuel Cañamero García, aka Cañamero, (born 21 November 1983 in Sevilla, Andalusia) is a Spanish football player who currently plays for Real Betis B of the Spanish Tercera División. Cañamero is an attacking midfielder.

Due to the appointment of Javier Irureta as Real Betis manager, Cañamero played a prominent role in pre-season friendlies during the 2006/2007 season. Cañamero's impressive performances left many journalists incorrectly predicting that the young player would have a first team role for Real Betis.
