José Capellán (left-handed pitcher)

José M. Capellán (Born: July 18, 1986 in San Francisco de Macoris, Dominican Republic) is a lefthanded minor league baseball pitcher in the Boston Red Sox organization.

He played in the Boston Red Sox organization from 2006 to 2007. In 2006 with the GCL Red Sox, he appeared in 11 games, starting six of them. He posted a 2.81 ERA and a 5-1 record. In 2007, with the Lowell Spinners, he posted a 4-3 record in 14 games started. His ERA was 3.69.

So far in the minors, he has posted a 9-4 record with a 3.35 ERA in 25 games, 20 of which he started.
