Batista full name José Batista Leite da Silva (born 12 July 1979 in Anguera, Bahia) is a Brazilian footballer. he plays for Avaí.
He also known as Batistinha, but "Leite da Silva" is his surname.

Batistinha signed a one year contract with ADAP of Série C in July 2005.[1]
He then played for Paraná. In March 2007, he signed a two-year contract with Avaí, but loaned back to Paraná for the rest of 2007 season.
