José Antonio Huelga Stadium

José Antonio Huelga Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Sancti Spíritus, Cuba. El Huelga as it is known in Cuba was built in 1991, it replaced the Gallos previously stadium Victoria de Giron. The previously stadium Victoria de giron is known in the city as La olla de presion . Jose A. Huelga stadium it is currently used mostly for baseball games and is the home stadium of Sancti Spíritus Gallos. The stadium holds 15,000 to 20,000 people. Also El coloso de los olivos was the last stadium built in Cuba. Architects: Rogelio Arrieta and Eduardo Garcia.

The statue outside the stadium was Cuba greatest pitcher Jose Antonio Huelga.

It's first sold out game was on 2002 . The game was versus Havana Vaqueros . Second sold out game April 2008 playoffs, the game was against Pinar del Rio Vegueros.

Jose Antonio Huelga Stadium is also known in Cuba as La valla de los gallos and El coloso de los olivos.
