From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Your article on Jordanhill states that Jordanhill School is a selective school. This is incorrect. Jordanhill School is a fully comprehensive school serving the local community. Entry is based purely on waiting lists, with priority given to pupils residing in Jordanhill. The school is unique in the state sector in that it is an all-through school, with both Primary and Secondary departments, providing education for children from 5 to 18.

HEADLINE: Bank robbers grab Pounds 10,000
BODY:
A PAIR of armed robbers made off with more than Pounds 10,000 after holding up security guards outside a bank.
The duo, wearing ski masks, robbed the guards outside a Bank of Scotland in Glasgow's Jordanhill area on Thursday night.
They then escaped in a car that had been stolen in another part of the city on February 1.
Its burnt- out shell was later found abandoned nearby. The stolen cashbox was discovered empty in the grounds of Gartnavel Hospital.
A police spokesman said: 'We're appealing for witnesses who saw them running through Hyndland Railway Station when the box's alarm went off.'

- Despite what the Daily Mail (London) might say, this robbery was not in Jordanhill. It was in the neighbouring Broomhill. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 22:14, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Gangs
I have lived in Jordanhill for over ten years and have never had any problem with youth gangs in the area, ceraintly the main street in the area is very quiet.
[edit] Top of page
Would anyone have a problem if I put "For the railway station, see Jordanhill (railway station)" at the top of the page? Anyways, comments appreciated. BlackBear 21:16, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Is it really needed, there is already a link to the Railway Station near the top of the article. Fraslet 21:26, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- I guess it's not necessary, but instead of someone having to look through the article to find the station if they were looking for it, it could save them some time. It couldn't hurt. BlackBear 21:51, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
