Jorhat Government Boys School

The Jorhat Govt. Boys School was established in the year 1883.The school was established during the rule of British. It is situated in Sonaru Path, near Head Post Office, Jorhat. The strength of staff members is around 56 and students are around 1600 approximately. The Medium of instruction is Assamese up-to class VIII and English there after for Maths, Science, Hindi and Social Science. Students of the Govt. Boys appear for HSLC under the SEBA Board and HSSLC under AHSEC Board.
