Jordan Shipley (born December 23, 1985 in Temple, Texas) is an American football wide receiver who currently plays for the University of Texas. Shipley holds almost every high school career receiving record for the state of Texas, including career receptions (252), receiving yards (5,424) and receiving touchdowns (73). [1] He played high school football at Burnet High School in Burnet, Texas with current Texas A&M starting quarterback Stephen McGee. Together they helped lead the Burnet Bulldogs to back-to-back Class 3A State Championship games. Following his record setting high school career, Shipley played in the 2004 U.S. Army All-American Bowl with fellow Texas Longhorn Frank Okam and another fellow Texan, former Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson.
