Jordan Metcalfe

Jordan Metcalfe (born 24 May 1986 [Age 22] Hull, England) is an English actor. He has a younger sister and an older brother. He currently stars as Adil the Genie, in the children's comedy Genie in the House, screened in the UK on Nickelodeon, in France on Canal J and Spain on Antena 3 (.NEOX). He finished recording a second series of Genie in the House in September, 2007, for broadcast from November, 2007.

Jordan has appeared as Jake in "The Queen's Nose" in 2002. He has played the roles of Chris Travis in "Heartbeat", Andy Murphy in "Casualty" , and Keiran Tyler in Tea with Betty "An Afternoon play" in 2006. He also played the voice of 'mould' in "Fungus the Bogeyman" (2004), a charactor named 'Chip' in "My Parents Are Aliens" in 2006, Garsten (14 years old) in "These foolish things" (2006), a telephone receptionist in "The Last Detective" (2005), Lightfoot in the documentary "The Iceman Murder" (2005), John Chappel jr. in the documentary "The Last Flight To Kuwait", Byron in "Ultimate Force", and Wayne in Jacqueline Wilson's "Girls In Love".

Other notable appearances include Timon in Maddigan's Quest and Oliver in Neil Bartlett's acclaimed production of Oliver Twist at the Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith in 2004. He has also worked in theatre playing the roles of The Artful Dodger in Oliver Twist, Nibs in Peter Pan, Jack in The Dreaming, Young Katurian in The Pillowman.

Jordan lives in London, and is currently at Bristol University studying Performing Arts and Drama.
