Jordan's IMAX
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Comcast IMAX 3D Theaters are located in Natick, Massachusetts and Reading, Massachusetts, two of only four located in the state, both connected to the locally famous furniture chain Jordan's Furniture. The other two are at the Museum of Science in Cambridge and the New England Aquarium in Boston.
The theater in Natick was the first one to open in August 2002. It features a screen that is seventy feet high, 12,000 watt sound, 272 Tempurpedic seats, "butt-kicking" seats, and digitally remastered Hollywood films.
After the success of the theater in Natick, they opened their second theater during October 2004 in Reading which includes many of the features of the Natick IMAX, yet can hold twice the capacity.
In 2007 MassHotSpots designated Jordan's Imax a "MassHotSpot". Review
