Is it proper to delete "talking points" on discussion pages that have been added to the article or become "final?" I just think that a discussion shouldn't be cluttered by outdated information.

Hi, my opinion is that these items should not be deleted, but archived so that they can be referred to in future if the issue arises again; as for other uses of an article title, you need Template:Otheruses, which has several variations.
