Joppolo (Greek: Iambolos) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Vibo Valentia in the Italian region Calabria, located about 70 km southwest of Catanzaro and about 20 km southwest of Vibo Valentia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,150 and an area of 15.3 km².[1]
The municipality of Joppolo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Coccorino, Coccorinello, Monte Poro, and Caroniti.
Joppolo borders the following municipalities: Nicotera, Ricadi, Spilinga.
