[edit] Clock tower pick
Howdy, Jondude. I had left the P in the userbox pretty minimalist because I wanted to replace it with a decent pic of the clock tower, or a graphical representation thereof. As I'm sure the logo is copyrighted, I'm one of those alums that never gets to Potsdam, and I have never had any faith in Matt Keller to do anything right, do you suppose you might be able to snap one? --starX 16:10, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Campus pics
Jondude- Looks like you've been working hard to get permission to use campus pictures. If you contact College Relations, they may be able to provide a good selection from which to choose. The problem with Matt's pics is that they suck. It's not your fault but they're so bad as to be worse than nothing.CrazyAboutCrane 20:43, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Airports
Greetings! I saw you joined WikiProject Airports and have created a handful of articles. This is very much appreciated! However, I noticed that the newly created articles don't have an airport infobox. You can find the template code for the infobox at WP:AIRPORTS/I. I've also listed them under airports requiring an infobox. If you get the chance, it'd be appreciated if you can add them, but if not, I'll make my best effort to get them added in the coming days. Should you have any questions about its usage, feel free to leave a message on my talk page or on that infobox talk page. thadius856talk|airports|neutrality 07:13, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry to keep bugging you. I noticed you're using the infobox on your new articles, and I couldn't be happier, not to mention that you're placing the project banner on the talk pages as well. You even added them to the new article subpage! Only one little thing still sticks in the back of my mind... you're not creating redirects. For example:
- Southwest Minnesota Regional Airport (IATA: MML, ICAO: KMML)
- Hope that isn't too confusing. Keep up the awesome work! thadius856talk|airports|neutrality 18:19, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

- Also wanted to thank you for the work on creating airport articles. If you look at Category:United States airport stubs you will see that there is a template for US airports, {{US-airport-stub}} that you can use. Have fun. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 12:33, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Aviation proposal
There is currently a proposal to create an Aviation WikiProject, which would serve to clarify how all the aviation related projects relate, and help with interproject editing. See Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Aircraft#Proposal_Recap for how the projects hierarchy. Part of the reorganization proposes that WikiProject Defunct Airlines become a task force of Wikipedia:WikiProject_Airlines (or perhaps the Aviation Project itself). For an idea of how task forces work, take a look at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Military_history. They have a number of task forces, listed here. As described by them, "task forces are informal groups of editors gathered for collaborative work on a particular topic within the field of military history; all project members are encouraged to participate in any that interest them." The benefit of such a system it that the sub-topics have all the resources of the overall project at their disposal. For instance, the Military history project banner, is placed on every military history page, and the related task forces are listed at the bottom of it. All military history related articles are thereby joined under one roof. I just happened to stumble upon your project, and had until now never realized it existed. By joining forces with another project you will benefit from increased exposure. If you have any ideas or comments, please join the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Aircraft. - Trevor MacInnis (Contribs) 02:19, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability of Eileen Whelley
A tag has been placed on Eileen Whelley, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Videmus Omnia 22:01, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Kathleen Deignan
A tag has been placed on Kathleen Deignan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
