[edit] Welcome
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- How to edit a page
- Editing tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! [edit] Medicine
I've noticed that you've been editing medicine related articles --from your contributions. We have a place where the medically minded people hang out: WikiProject "Clinical Medicine". You are invited to join.
If your interests are in nephrology, GI or pre-clinical medicine-- there are projects specifically for those things.
Jfdwolff noted here-- you don't have to ref if there is a PMID tag-- this is explained in the CLINMED article writing guide. Another useful guide is WP:REF. I look forward to more of your edits. Nephron T|C 00:43, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
- Joining is more-or-less just signing your name... whereas ideally it is a tiny bit more than that. Any case, there isn't any obligations that follow from signing-up. The Wikiprojects are just a place to discuss and coordinate things. Contribute as much as you think is reasonable-- without it compromising the things you have to get done otherwise (working, studying, obligations to significant other). Sporadic is fine. [edit] UK?
Hey pal, good to have you. Don't forget to prepare for your exams - Wikipedia is very absorbing (hell, it's a black hole at times!) Are you in the UK? JFW | T@lk 21:58, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] =Surrey Brown Caps
There is no point in this page because none of the other county teams have their one-day team listed as an article, only Surrey.
