[edit] Speedy deletion of Rude Star Hi-Fi

A tag has been placed on Rude Star Hi-Fi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Sting au Buzz Me... 09:50, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy delete

Because it fails WP:MUSIC completely. Where are your WP:RS to satisfy WP:V and give WP:N? Sting au Buzz Me... 10:02, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

I see your point with the WP:MUSIC - as it's not a band but a DJ collective. No wonder it hasn't been meeting the criteria mentioned in WP:MUSIC as it's not a band. But I don't see where it fails to WP:RS/WP:V as I am the source, the owner and operator of Rude Star Hi-Fi...

In case it's not WP:MUSIC what is it then? And how do I improve it? Jonas Bæk (talk) 11:38, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

Sorry for not getting back to you again straight away. I see the article in question has been deleted. All I could suggest is to study up on the notability guidelines before trying to recreate this article. You need published third party references in your article to show notability.
