Jon. Hallett is the IT Manager at the Library of the University of the West of England. He is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the British Computer Society.

Previously he was a research student, a systems administrator and a School Manager in the School of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton. He is a particular fan of Jackson Structured Programming, which he still uses, usually for Perl scripts.
