Jonas Complex is a four piece hard rock band that fuses musical ability with a passion for connecting with others. Front man Brannon Purvis' emotional flare on top of an intense blend of influence provided by guitarist Jamie Maguire, bassist Dennis Harris, and drummer Ted Kelliher give Jonas Complex a completely original sound that is sure to push the hard rock envelope. Jamie, Dennis, and Ted were elementary school friends who grew up together in Boston. By 9th grade they started playing music togetehr and formed the band Meiatic with another high school freind as their singer. As years past, Meiatic found a new singer and morphed into Jonas Complex. Jonas Complex reached local success in Boston playing venues such as Axis, The Middle East, and The Paradise. By February of '07, Jonas Complex hit the road for Los Angeles, California in search of fame and a new singer. In LA, Jonas Complex met Brannon Purvis, an Atlanta, Georgia native. His vocal talent and ability to write was a good fit for the rest of the band. Jonas Complex is currently playing shows in LA which include but are not limited to The Gig, The Roxy, The Whisky A Go Go, and The Viper Room.
