[edit] Who am I?

Firstly, I'll just mention that Jon Alten is a pseudonym, not my actual name. (I'm horrible with picking usernames.) My interests include geography, history, vexillology, and at times politics. I enjoy long walks on the beach and making bad jokes. There was one right there. I spend a lot of time on Wikipedia, doing stuff for school or out of plain boredom. I'm a bit of a trivia buff, I happen to be on my high school's Quiz Bowl team, and Wikipedia helps with that a lot. I'm even nerdy enough that I browse Wikipedia randomly for entertainment.

Most likely, I will be editing vandalism from pages that I come across. It seems logical to assume that I'll end up editing pages that interest me, as often times I use Wikipedia when I'm bored. Pages about geography, countries, flags, video gaming and television (Code Lyoko) are often what I end up looking at, so perhaps most of my contributions will be there. Currently, I'm trying to work with WikiProject Michigan. However, look at my contributions page and you'll notice most of my edits are to my own userpage- I'm OCD like that sometimes.
