My heart is heavy over the death of Dr. Drummond-Webb. I only knew of him through the tv program featuring him but he made a strong impression on me. I am so sad that depression should take him so early in life. So many children will not have his help and compassion. AMM, Florida

I knew Dr. Drummond-Webb as he is the surgeon who operated on my daughter this past Nov. He was larger than life and such a dynamic force that it is difficult to comprehend his suicide. How heavy his burden must've been and how sad that no one could help him heal his own heart. We've lost a precious gift. GA

[edit] very sad news

Wow! I was just looking up some stuff on the series. I really enjoyed watching it, and he was my favorite person on the series. Especially how he joked around with Bailey, who was a trooper herself. They had a good rapport. I hope she's doing OK. I'm shocked about DW. He seemed to exemplify stress management, and sense of complete self, with triathlons and such.
