Johannes Bretke was prussian (old prussian). So why title of article is written in lithuanian style? If the russian Ivan Ivanov in english books names himself as John Johnson he becames not an englishman, but still remains Ivan Ivanov. --82.135.217.3 12:09, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

Please read what name he did use to sign the book, it is quite clear readable "Per Jona Bretkuna". And Old Prussian language was quite similar to Lithuanian. Again you should take into account, that at the time this region was quite Lithuanised.--Lokyz 10:05, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
