Jono Porter

Jono Porter (12 May 1981 - 9 June 2004) was regarded as the best Australian Freestyle Motocrosser (FMX'er). Even after he died, for a long time no one was as good as he had been. He died on June 9, 2004 at the Maxxis Australian Motocross Championships in Coolum, QLD, Australia[1], he got the Holeshot but crashed and then was run over by the rest of the motocross pack. He never regained consciousness. He was great friends with FMX legend Travis Pastrana. Jono Porter was the first ever rider in the world to perform a backflip on a four-stroke motorcycle.
