Jonathan "Jonny" Steele (born February 7, 1986 in Larne, Northern Ireland) is a Northern Irish soccer midfielder who has spent most of his career in the U.S. leagues. He currently plays for the Puerto Rico Islanders.
Steele played previously with coach Scott Schweitzer for the Syracuse Salty Dogs, Rochester Raging Rhinos and Carolina RailHawks. In 2004, he joined the Kansas City Comets of Major Indoor Soccer League.[1] The next year, he moved to the Baltimore Blast where he was a member of the 2006 MISL championship team. He played with the Wolverhampton Wanderers in England and was a member of the Northern Ireland U-19 National Team. He has trained with Blackburn Rovers, Manchester City and Leicester City. He spent the 2007 season with the Carolina RailHawks of the USL First Division.
