Jonathan Thomas Meriweather, also known as Jon-Tom, is the main character of Alan Dean Foster's Spellsinger series. He is a former law-student and part-time rock musician transported from Earth by the turtle wizard Clothahump to a world of talking animals and magic. On this world he learns to use his musical abilities to make magic on his odd stringed instrument, the duar.
