Jonathan ("Jon") McKain (born September 21, 1982) is an Australian football (soccer) player, who currently plays for Wellington Phoenix in Australian A-League. He is generally a defender but can also play in midfield.

He joined FC Politehnica in the summer of 2005, from fellow Divizia A side FC Naţional Bucureşti. He has also played for the Brisbane Strikers in Australia.
McKain signed for the Wellington Phoenix for the 2008-2009 A-League season.[1]

He has represented Australia and made three appearances at the 2005 Confederations Cup in Germany. He also represented Australia at the 2004 Olympics.
