[edit] Club career
Forte started at Rotherham United as a schoolboy in the Academy, but opted to join the Sheffield United Academy, along with Billy Sharp after Rotherham turned him away.
Forte has mostly been used as a substitute at Sheffield United, with only 5 of his appearances being from the start. He went on loan twice in 2005/06, to Doncaster and Rotherham. He scored 8 times (4 for each team) for these clubs, and played an important part in keeping Rotherham in League One.
In July 2006, Forte was re-signed by Doncaster Rovers, initially on a six-month loan deal. He helped Doncaster win the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on April 1, 2007 scoring the first goal in 3-2 (aet) victory against Bristol Rovers after only 43 seconds.
Forte signed for Scunthorpe United on July 4, 2007.[1]
[edit] International career
Jonathan has been capped at junior level by England, having played in a Youth World Cup Qualifier for his country.
On March 26th, he made his international debut for Barbados in a 1-0 victory against Dominica. He qualifies for Barbados through his father.
