Jonathan Denis (born September 22, 1975 in Regina, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian politician, lawyer, and businessperson who was elected in the 2008 provincial election to represent the electoral district of Calgary Egmont in the Legislative Assembly of Alberta. He is a member of the Progressive Conservatives and a supporter of the federal Conservative Party.

Denis was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, where he first became interested in politics as a teenager. In 1995, Denis was a staffer of former provincial Liberal leader Lynda Haverstock but later abandoned that party for the conservatives when the Liberals joined with the socialist NDP to form a coalition government.

Denis graduated with a commerce degree from the University of Regina in 1997 and with a law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2000. He relocated to Calgary after graduation and was called to the Alberta bar in 2001. He most recently worked at the law firm Miller Thomson in government relations before resigning after the election.

Denis is the former President of 3D Contact Inc., a communications firm founded by him and Member of Parliament Pierre Poilievre.

During the 2008 campaign, Denis received endorsements from Conservative Members of Parliament Jason Kenney and Lee Richardson, whose ridings overlap upon Calgary-Egmont as well as Calgary Alderman Ric McIver and cabinet minister Ted Morton.

Denis serves on the Cabinet Policy Committee on Health, Standing Committee for Health, Standing Committee on Public Accounts, Private Bills House Strategy Committee, and the Alberta-Alaska Bilateral Committee.
