Jona Pur is a census town in South district in the Indian state of Delhi.

As of 2001 India census[1], Jona Pur had a population of 7419. Males constitute 57% of the population and females 43%. Jona Pur has an average literacy rate of 62%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 70%, and female literacy is 51%. In Jona Pur, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.
