Jon Udell

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jon Udell is an "Evangelist" at Microsoft[1][2]. Previously he was lead analyst for the InfoWorld Test Center.

Udell is the author of Practical Internet Groupware, published in 1999 by O'Reilly, and an advisor to O'Reilly's Safari Tech Books Online. He wrote a column, "Tangled in the Threads," for Byte.com from 1999-2002.

He created the LibraryLookup[3] bookmarklet project, which makes it easier for people to discover if their local library has a copy of a given book.

Udell has said, "I'm often described as a leading-edge alpha geek, and that's fair".[1]
