Jon Turner is a British Yachtsman and Boatbuilder with a great record of success in a variety of National and International Racing Classes.
Turner has won National or World Championships in International 14, Merlin Rocket and Scorpion Class racing dinghies.
Turner was originally apprenticed to "Spud" Peter Rowsell a Boatbuilder in Exmouth England with whom he won the Merlin Rocket Championships at Abersoch in Wales in 1978.
He then crewed Phil Morrison to win the Fireball World Championships in 1981 before moving on to great success himself as helmsman in a wide variety of classes.
