Jon Sharpe

Jon Sharpe was the original author of The Trailsman series of Western novels, published by New American Library, a division of Penguin Group (USA). The monthly series, which has run since the early 1980s, still uses the Jon Sharpe pseudonym for various ghostwriters under contract with the publisher. His books are best described as, "lust in the dust", type of westerns with lots of action.
