Jon Poole

Jon Poole was born 16th October 1969. He wrote and performed with his first band Ad Nauseam, alongside Bob Leith, who would later become drummer for Cardiacs. Jon Poole joined Cardiacs in 1991, replacing Christian 'Bic' Hayes. Meanwhile he continued his solo projects, such as his tribute to Zappa, entitled Mothers Covers (later renamed 'What's the Ugliest Part of your Body?'). He also played with Ablemesh, re-inventing many of their songs. He left Cardiacs and was replaced by Karvus Torabi.
Jon Poole, better known as "Random" Jon Poole, is a British musician and bassist. He has previously been a member of various bands such as Cardiacs, The Wildhearts, and SilverGinger 5. His current band is God Damn Whores and regularly plays as part of Ginger's band - Ginger & The Sonic Circus.
He currently lives in Brighton with his wife Louise.
Jon is currently writing for the next God Damn Whores album that is rumored to be released min 2009.
