Jon Messner
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jon David Messner (1957 - April 8, 2005) was an American internet pornography entrepreneur who began his own site for amateur wives, The Wetlands, by convincing his wife, Cherie Monroe, to pose nude.
He is known for hijacking the radical Islamist news site Alneda, which was one of many sites used by Al-Qaeda to spread its message. As a result of this, Messner was a guest speaker at the National Defense University in April 2003.
Messner committed suicide by hanging after battling cancer for three years.[citation needed]
