Jon Ekerold (born October 8, 1946 in Johannesburg, South Africa) is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer. He is remembered as being one of the few racers to have won a world championship without the benefit of a motorcycle manufacturer's support when he defeated factory Kawasaki rider Anton Mang for the 1980 350cc Grand Prix road racing World Championship. He rode a privately financed self modified Yamaha TZ 350 engine in a Bimota chassis during his championship season.
