Jollas is a genus of jumping spiders (Salticidae). Most species occur in Central to South America. J. lahorensis, however, is only found in Pakistan. This can possibly be explained by the occurrence of very strong upward winds in Amazonia and equally strong downward winds in Pakistan, at least since the time of Pangaea. The salticid genera Freya, Bellota and Zygoballus have a very similar distribution.
