Jolanta Danielak

Jolanta Ryszarda Danielak (maiden name Szwajkowska) (born June 3, 1955 in Szczecinek) is a Polish politician, a member of the Democratic Left Alliance and, previously SdRP.

A graduate of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań in psychology and Academy of Internal Affairs in Warsaw, she spend several years working as a psychologist (as court and police expert, and in hospitality).

In 1994 she was elected to the City Council in Zielona Góra. She became Council Chairwoman in 1997 and served until 2001.

She also served in the Senate (1997-2005). She was a Senate Vice-Marshal from 2001 to 2005. She lost re-election in 2005 (DLA lost all Senate seats).

She was elected again to the City Council on Left and Democrats ticket in 2006 and now serving. She also failed her attempt to comeback to Parliament 2007.
