[edit] Sorry

I'm sorry that I accused you of being a sock of someone else here. Usually, I refrain from doing this because of the ability to edit from an IP address. when a "new user" shows up, and his/her first edit is an AfD nom, I get suspicious of WP:COI, OR WP:NPOV. I was too quick to judge, and for that I apologize. I hope you can let me off the hook here. I would be happy to strike my own comments if that helps. Thanks, and happy editing to you, Keeper | 76 17:29, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

No problem man! Jokermole (talk) 17:34, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

thanks, I appreciate your understanding. Are you going to strike/withdraw your nom for the Eudiometer AfD? Let me know if you need assistance to do as much. Keeper | 76 17:39, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
how exactly would one do that? Any help would be much appreciated. Jokermole (talk) 17:52, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
Looks like its been done already. Again, thanks for your contribs, and sorry about the sock accusation. Happy editing, Keeper | 76 17:55, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Linear (N/A)

Hello. Just to say that I've left a comment on the Linear (N/A) talk page that you've made. Chris (talk) 20:41, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
I hope you understand what precisely you did on this page. I'm willing to defend your article (at which I'm very experienced, having defended at least 15 articles in the past on other wikis). It'll likely be merged, however, as the only feasible argument is to say that there's a separate page to say that some molecules, which are all diatomic molecules, have no geometry because they are all terminal atoms. Also, you can display your references with the {{reflist}} template.·· TVOtalk 23:24, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
You just added a reference to an article on answers.com. That site is a commercial copy of wikipedia so it is a self reference. That is not allowed. The copy may not of course be the latest wikipedia article. --Bduke (talk) 00:00, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
I am not sure what is your point. To my knowledge there is no such term as "linear (N/A)" and believe me, I know enough chemistry. You have not provided yet a link that shows the use of this term, so my move is still the logical one.Nergaal (talk) 00:07, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for all your criticism. Critical editors like yourselves are the reason wikipedia is such a great place. Jokermole (talk) 04:45, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Molecular geometry

User:Smokefoot has suggested that all the geometry infoboxes be removed and probably that the template be deleted on the grounds that the information is misleading and incorrect. Do you have insight into this topic?·· TVOtalk 19:28, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

I suggest talking to Bduke (he's a friend of mine- admin), because this is over my head, wikipedia-wise. Jokermole (talk) 19:30, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Re you question on my talk page. I only just spotted it as there were two other comments after it overnight. I do not usually get that amount of traffic. I usually reply there but let us have any further discussion here. Your page is on my watchlist. I think the infobox should remain without hybridization and perhaps with some modifications but I need time to think about that. The section in diatomic molecule needs editing but it should stay. I'll have a go at editing perhaps by making an alternative on the talk page there. --Bduke (talk) 22:53, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Feel free to change it immediately. The only issue is that we need to respond here. Just to let you know, TVO and I are close friends outside of wikipedia and both entirely endorse your decisions. Jokermole (talk) 04:16, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Grammar

I appreciate the grammar work on Che ... it would be great if you would be willing to run over the full article. Sometimes a new set of eyes is needed. Thanks :o)   Redthoreau (talk) RT 23:26, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
