Talk:Jokela High School
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The school premises include the high school (upper secondary school, in Finnish lukio) but also classes 7-9 (yläaste). That's why it's called Jokela school center. --88.114.238.161 17:31, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- Would it be best to rename the school as Jokela School Centre/Center or would it perhaps be better to use the Finnish title? What ages do classes 7-9 cover? Dahliarose 18:11, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- Yläaste (classes 7-9) is the last three years of Finnish primary/comprehensive school. Ages of pupils are normally 12/13 - 15/16. More here Education_in_Finland#Primary_and_secondary_education 85.29.95.162 11:49, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
