Joker Wild

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Joker Wild is a video poker game based on five card draw where the player is dealt a five card hand. The player can then choose which cards to keep or discard and is dealt new cards accordingly. The game uses a standard 52 card deck and one joker. The joker acts as a "wild card" and can be substituted for any card in the deck according to what is most beneficial to the player's hand. This allows the player greater flexibility in building a winning hand. The inclusion of the joker also makes it possible to have Five of a Kind which is not possible in normal draw poker and is the second highest hand after a Royal Flush. The payouts for a "natural" Royal Flush that does not include the joker is higher than a Wild Royal Flush. The payout percentage ranges from ~92% to 100.64%.
