[edit] Welcome
Welcome to Wikipedia. To find out more about how to make useful contributions, take a look at the welcome page. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. Click on Notability for an explanation of what that means. Also, it must give independently verifiable sources. Articles that don't meet these requirements are likely to be deleted. Follow the links below to learn more:
- To find out more about creating articles, read the Introduction, the Tutorial, and the Guide to creating your first article.
- Do not write articles about yourself, your band, or your best friend - that's a conflict of interest.
- Wikipedia is not an advertising service. Before writing about your own business, read Business' FAQ.

[edit] Your article "John Mee"
I have moved the page "John Mee" you created to your user page, as it seems to be about yourself. If you intended it to be an article in the main encyclopedia, you may re-create it, but before doing that, please read the guidelines Notability and Notability (people), and also the guidelines on autobiography, conflict of interest and advertising, to understand why it would probably be speedily deleted. Sorry, I made a muddle of that. What should have happened is that the page "John Mee" you wrote ended up on your user page, a process called "userfying". Instead, it has got lost. However, I see you have already written much the same there. The point is that autobiographical notes like that are fine on a user page, but not in an encyclopedia article, for reasons explained in Wikipedia's policy on autobiography. The links in the Welcome paragraph above should give you an introduction to the (rather confusing) world of Wikipedia, but please leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions.
