[edit] Wiki & External links
Please review External links and What wiki is not to allow you to comment on the placing of external links from an informed perspective. Thanks you --Herby talk thyme 17:24, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RSPB logo
Could you get a copy of this with permission to publish it from the RSPB - it would improve the page I feel - thanks --Herby talk thyme 18:06, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yes this should not be a problem. Is there some way to demonstrate on Wiki that permission has been granted?Johnbarleycorn 20:33, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Some more
Firstly an apology. Seeing an apparent first edit that was placing an external link probably made me react incorrectly. For any tone in my postings that you may not have liked I am sorry.
So - good to have an experienced editor around with an interest in the RSPB. There do not seem to be many about. You will see that there is some work under way in the "reserves list" which is frankly a mess. Equally the article for the RSPB has been marked for cleanup for some time (I've done some minor editing). As to images, given your experience you will probably know more than me however Wikipedia:Logos & Wikipedia:Media copyright questions seem to be a places to look - I've seen logos on a number of pages. The Ornithology page could also do with attention from someone knowledgeable. Do get back to me if anything isn't clear and I will continue to do such minor editing as I can in this important and somewhat neglected area. Regards --Herby talk thyme 12:13, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

- Thank you once again. I have done a bit of editing but I am no expert in the fiddly bits and I will no doubt take up your offer of help. I also clearly need to brush up on Wiki etiquette.Johnbarleycorn 20:28, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
