A tag has been placed on Wannamacher Gun Show, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Realkyhick 04:13, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hello
Hello. I saw you created an article related to the University of Oklahoma. I, myself, do a lot of work with OU-related articles and I started a WikiProject centered around OU a few months ago. You can check it out here. We'd love any help we can get. I don't have a lot of time now to help but I'm going to look at your article and make some changes. For instance, I'm going to capitalize the title so it reads Sarkeys Energy Center instead of Sarkeys energy center. Also, I'm going to add a few categories and banners to the talk page. Anyway, I look forward to working with you in the future.↔NMajdan•talk 02:30, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
- Also, you made a comment about combining the Sarkeys article and University of Oklahoma College of Earth and Energy. I would be against this because Sarkeys is a building and the College of Earth and Energy is an academic program. They are separate entities. I would like to have information relating to the building itself (size, history, what it contains) in the Sarkeys article and information about the College of E&E in that article (such as history of the program, accomplishments, research, faculty, etc). I hope that makes sense. Because of this, I may move the section in the Sarkeys article about important staff to the CEE article as it is more relevant there.↔NMajdan•talk 02:38, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Steven Barry
A tag has been placed on Steven Barry, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Vgranucci 02:06, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:Professor David Deming-2-.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Professor David Deming-1-.jpg. The copy called Image:Professor David Deming-1-.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 20:32, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
