I have created a new article as an experiment in my personal sandbox. However, the article text is trancuated about 2 thirds down the length of the article. The edit pane shows the full text. Any explanation, and help to solve the problem please. Thankx Johann van Schalkwyk 06:00, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- Hmm...I opened it and it looked fine - no text problems. What browser are you using? Giggy\Talk 06:57, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Use of categories on user pages
Article categories are not permitted to be used on user pages. I deleted them before realizing exactly what you were trying to do; so I added them back but commented them out using the leading colon. When you copy this over to the article space, simply delete the colon in front of each category. Note an alterate way of commenting out the categories would be to use the no wiki code. The use of the colon is more commonly used as it preserves the link to the category page without adding the page to the category. Dbiel (Talk) 01:12, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
Thanks Dbiel, I'm new to this and was not aware of that.Johann van Schalkwyk 04:57, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
