You should have discussed before taking action. Beside it doesn't hurt anything.--THE FOUNDERS INTENT TALK 22:44, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
- I really don't understand your point here, as you didn't discuss your edit before making it either? Anyway, check out WP:BRD, which explains kind of why I did like I did. If you think the article should be in both the main category, and the subcategory it already is in, then please say so and we'll discuss it. – Elisson • T • C • 16:59, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hakan Mild
Hi Johan. Why do you keep deleting the link to video featuring Hakan Mild?? You write, "it's irrelevant to the article". Great, if the article was about Nuclear Power Plant, I'd say too, the video about great Swedish football player Hakan Mild, showing his AMAZING skills with the ball, is irrelevant to the topic. But the article about Mild... so what's wrong with the video about the very guy the article is written about, Johan?? :) Seriously, I wonder why do you delete it. Please, think again, let's put a link to the video so all the people who visit this Wikipedia page (and Wikipedia's pages are first to be found in all search engines, so everyone who likes to know more about Hakan Mild, would visit this page first) would see an amazing skills of the guy. If I could, I'd add more videos to that section, videos that feature his goals, for example, that great goal he scored when Sweden beat Bulgaria 4-0 in 1994 (over the 3rd place, I bet you remember). Other pages DO HAVE this link section with the link to videos. So why wouldn't we?? P.S. Mind you that it is NOT my video neither I want to promote it in such way. I'm simply a big fan of Sweden, Swedish football and everything that's connected to the fame of your incredibly beautiful country.85.250.39.107 (talk) 18:44, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Ronnie Slogun, 5 Dec 2007, 7:41 PM.
- I refer you to WP:EL as to why for example Youtube videos are generally not suitable for linking on an article. Anyway, the video is, of course, a fake, just like the commercial with Ronaldinho on the same theme. – Elisson • T • C • 19:07, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
-
- Is it a fake?? It can't be fake, man, it's Hakan Mild!.. I agree it wasn't "everyone thought our camera wasn't running anymore", as they wrote, because it was filmed on purpose, but looks like it's Mild... It comes from "Svenska Fans. com"... By the way, congratulations on your Bronze Wiki Award! 89.139.26.146 (talk) 19:19, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Ronnie Slogun

- Btw, Johan: this is taken from the WP:EL

"Linking to YouTube, Google Video, and similar sites
There is NO blanket ban on linking to these sites as long as the links abide by the guidelines on this page (which would be infrequent)." ;))) 89.139.26.146 (talk) 23:58, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Ronnie Slogun
- Yes, the video is a fake, of course, made with the consent of Håkan. Regarding WP:EL, yes, there is no blanket ban, but unless you can tell how the link abides to the guidelines, it shouldn't be included. – Elisson • T • C • 17:24, 6 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Allsvenskan
Believe me, I know the difference between Allsvenskan winners and Swedish Champions. But the list of "League winners" where Malmo had 18 titles and IFK has 13 is shown just below the list of "Previous winners" of Allsvenska. IF you read this list, you would know that Malmo is listed there only 15 times, and IFK is listed there also 15 times.
When did Malmo win those 3 more titles? Which 2 titles of IFK you dont count and why?
Here Malmö FF it is written that Malmo has 15 titles. Here IFK Göteborg it is written that IFK has 18 titles (but 3 are before Allsvenska). Here it is also confirmed: http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fotbollsallsvenskan
So either you change all those articles mentioned AND this one or you dont change any of these. --Jakas1 (talk) 22:49, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- The table was wrong and I've fixed it now, sorry that I didn't notice it before. So the number of titles in Allsvenskan, and the number of Swedish championship titles aren't the same for the clubs in question, for example in 1987, Malmö FF won Allsvenskan, but IFK Göteborg won the Swedish championship. – Elisson • T • C • 00:50, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
-
- Ok, now it's clear. But I suggest that you write a sentence there that "Winner of Allsvenska was not always awarded a title of Swedish Champion". Or even I suggest to put this table below: Swedish_football_champions#Swedish_champions to make everything clear.

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Orgryte is.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Orgryte is.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 20:07, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Orebro_sk.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Orebro_sk.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:06, 13 January 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MECU≈talk 22:06, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Mishatifo.jpg
I have tagged Image:Mishatifo.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags/Non-free. Thank you. MECU≈talk 22:27, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Vasteras sk.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Vasteras sk.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 07:15, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of List of hooligan firms
An editor has nominated List of hooligan firms, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of hooligan firms and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Malaga cf.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Malaga cf.gif.
Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:16, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Pate move
Wow, your talk page isn't much fun atm! Anyway, I never get around to learn process around here. I believe Autolysis (biology) should be moved to just "autolysis" and histories possibly merged. If you don't feel like doing it, I guess I have to file a formal request somewhere. (Dunno, always feel a reluctance to that kind of system.) // habj (talk) 02:02, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Reversed content in Associative Football
I added a paragraph regarding FIFA's altitude ban, since it is a very polemic regulation affecting the practice of the sport for millions of people in several countries, incluiding but not limited to: Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. Is very polemic for the fact that changes the concept (cited in the article) of a fair, equal and universal sport. Also, this regulation sets precedence to ban the practice of the sport in different conditions, as I wrote, which doesn't happen in other major sports. Thousands of people, the COMEBOL and many state presidents have tried to reverse this unfair ruling. Is one of the points cited in the Wiki article about FIFA http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIFA , and added to accusations of corruption from the current president, Sepp Blatter (also documented in the wiki). It was covered in media (tv, newspapers) in many countries, and there are several groups involving thousands of people actively trying to reverse completely this mistake. So, yes, I think is important to have a paragraph on this page. --izelpii

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Aik.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Aik.gif. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
-
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

[edit] Request for a peer review
Hi, we at WP:AFL are looking for an external user from WP:FOOTY to provide a peer review for one of our articles, Joel Selwood. The article is currently undergoing an extensive peer review, and your comments as a fresh reviewer with no necessary knowledge of the sporting code would be most appreciated. In particular, in helping us address any concerns regarding issues with jargon etc. Kind regards. Boomtish (talk) 07:27, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
