Tim Lees, born Billinge, January 24, 1986 is a footballer who finished 2nd in the 2004 World Nike Freestyle Competition.
He is best known for his exploits on the channel 4 TV series The Pepsi Max World Challenge. In November 2005, Pepsi and T4 teamed up to find the best 2 amateur footballers in the UK, with Tim and London born Marcel Jones beating off thousands of hopefuls,they went on to compete against 10 other countries. The series was set around the globe with a $100,000 prize for the winning team. They performed many different football challenges involving David Beckham, Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry and Alessandro Nesta with China winning the competition.
Tim also represented the England Budweiser team at the World Cup 2006 in Germany, where Jamie Redknapp managed the team in a curtain raiser for the Official tournament. Greece won the competition with England failing to qualify from the group stages.
Tim was previously released from Everton and Bolton Wanderers Academies as a youngster after failing to make the grade.
He has also worked on several football skills campaigns including a commercial for Coca-Cola in their 'Street Striker' advertisement in 2007 where Wayne Rooney headed the campaign.
In 2007 Tim signed on a football scholarship in Maryland, U.S.A. but was last reported to be playing in the Unibond league for Rossendale United F.C.
