You know my name. Born August 20th 1970 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, single father of a daughter born in 1989. Rock musician since age 8 (drums) with experience on guitar, bass, vox, writing. Mild regional success in a number of bands in my home town before moving to Oxford, North Carolina in 1994. Spent 3 (1998-2001) years as an announcer/manager in a popular independent pro-wrestling organization.
I haven't picked a particular target for editing here yet - mostly it'll likely be filling holes that I can fill where I find them, adding information that is missing from articles that are of interest to me, and doing my level best to maintain NPOV.
Finally: There is at least one other fairly prominent personage in the US, and a fairly well-known educator in Canada, with the name John Henry DeJong. Please try to avoid confusing me with them. As I find the time, I'll link information about them to this page somehow. Any references you find to me being married or divorces are either about someone else or fiction; I've never been either. Ditto any reference to jail time, harassment, spamming, etc. I've had a few online run-ins with unbalanced individuals over the years; regrettably this has resulted in "LowGenius" and "John Henry DeJong" returning results in Google searches that can leave a very twisted impression of who I am and what I do.

I have, over the years, owned or administrated a couple of dozen websites. In early 2008, I set about 'condensing' my online presence to these two sites:
- LowGenius.Com - My 'professional personality.' Web design, marketing and IT information, and contact information to contract me as a consultant
- LowGenius.Net - My 'private personality.' Personal musings, humor and topical articles and commentary, parody, and whatever else I deem appropriate.
