[edit] A bit about me

My book, Wikipedia: The Missing Manual, was published by O'Reilly Media (Pogue Press) on January 25, 2008, and started being available online and in bookstores in early February. It's the first, and so far only book about how to edit Wikipedia. You can find out more about the book at my website www.gopedia.org.

Within Wikipedia, my primary accomplishment has been the writing of the Editor's index to Wikipedia (although that accounts for perhaps 20% of my edits), which I now help maintain .

I live in the Washington D.C. area. I'm not the Australian astronomer about whom Wikipedia has an article: John Broughton.
