[edit] Contesting speedydelete

Okay, this article is problematic mainly because it was created by the entity it is about (with a group user account, no less, which is against policy). However, since institutions of higher education are generally inherently notable (interpreting WP:ORG), I don't see justification for a speedydelete. A rewrite tag would probably be more appropriate, along with an indefinite block for the group user account (I'll take care of that as soon as I'm done typing this). --Dynaflow 03:43, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] To the article's creator(s):

Don't take it personally, but, as your account is severely at odds with Wikipedia user-account policy, I've cued your username for nuking at WP:UAA thusly:

Johnston Community College (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log) Self-confessed multiple-user account at odds in several ways with WP:U, which is (also self-confessed) being used to make COI edits to article Johnston Community College. See User:Johnston Community College: "Account created by User:Johnston Community College which belongs to the JCC Institutional Advancement Division. It is to be used in conjunction with editing information for and about Johnston Community College." --Dynaflow 03:51, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

If you wish to edit this article again (from individual-user accounts in line with policy), please read the pages linked from my message to UAA (above), particularly WP:U and WP:COI, before doing so. Thank you. --Dynaflow 03:58, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
