Can we remove the citation from What's the Matter with Kansas? It has a clear negative POV. Caleiva 23:33, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Regardless of its POV, quoting that large a section of the book in the intro is probably more extensive than is allowed under fair use. I'll at least trim it down for starters. (ESkog)(Talk) 23:35, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, I agree with the idea the comments included from "What's the matter with Kansas," contain a negative point of view. I don't think anyone would doubt that the area has its shortcomings, but a discussion on those shortcomings needs to be a bit more detailed than a quote from a book. I've changed this comment a bit, to incorporate Frank's comments, but I've also included some figures from other sources. OPIchabod 14:28, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
