[edit] Discussion

I visited Johnny Lovewisdom in 1975 at his home in Vilcabamba, Ecuador, with a freelance camera crew. Lovewisdom told us he was the reincarnation of John the Baptist and knew the entire text of the Bible intuitively. He also knew that the original peoples of the Andes had been tall, blond Aryans, but were reduced by sin to short, dark Indians. Lovewisdom said he was sending out a newsletter to about 500 people, mostly in the United States, and he operated a diploma mill, selling Ph.D.s and other degrees outright. At age 55, we found him with a large tumor on his neck; his home and grounds were laced with ropes because he had no sense of balance. He apparently had gained notority in his youth by living in a volcano; he said he sustaining himself totally on green orange juice then for more than a month. Eating any fruit with mature seeds, he said, would create sexual feelings, and that should be avoided. Lovewisdom had two young followers living with him at the time; they also did not seem in the best of health. The young woman mentioned that she had never had a menstrual period, apparently something she was proud of. When a cameraman talked about buying Lovewisdom a steak, Lovewisdom returned the joke with a good natured laugh.

–– Why not tell us a little more, like the title of the movie, you folks did, and where it has been published. I mean, that would be of high interest to people, that come by this article ? 62.112.218.208 04:36, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
