He's made national news repeatedly, for god's sake. Sufficiently notable for a wikipedia entry/get over yourselves. He's at least as notable as hamsterdance/pbjtime/etc. 24.181.29.106

--- Mulitple mentions on many national news programs? Sounds notable to me.. Ralph 11May06

I agree. I read an article and decided to look up Johnny Lechner and, sure enough, something was written about him. I say keep it. Johp78
I also agree with this, as he is somehwat of a real life Van Wilder. Let him graduate! RhearnCT
I concur.

[edit] People Magazine

This article is not accurate. If one reads the issue of time magazine, you will see that Johnny Lechner was not named one of the Hottest Bachelors. In truth, Johnny Lechner was in a different article the followed the hottest Bachelors entitled "Men Who Need a Woman” or something similar to that. In this article he was featured with many other “loveable losers”. The legitimacy of this article should be question. Finally to prove my point if Johnny Lechner was truly named one of the hottest bachelors, why is there no citations or links proving such?

I agree with the above passage. If there is no source proving that indeed Johnny Lechner was one of the Hottest Bacholers, then it must been removed from the articel as stated by Wikipedia in the top of this page.

It repeatedly states online that he'd get a triple major/triple minor in those six fields, but which are which?

[edit] "The state passed legislation instituting..."

"The state passed legislation instituting a so-called "Lechner Law/ slacker tax" on long-term students, so Lechner pays double the standard in-state tuition, essentially covering the entire cost of his education."

Does this sentence not quite make sense to anyone else?

If he pays double the standard tuition, how are his costs being covered at all? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Recoil42 (talk • contribs) 20:32, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

Because then he does not get as much of a discount as outher in-state students. It is not HIS cost that is being covered but the cost of his education to the state. Bunnygod888 10:19, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
